Abstract
The curriculum is a very important tool for the success of an education. Without a proper and appropriate curriculum it will be difficult to achieve the desired educational goals and objectives. Implementation of the 2013 curriculum at SMAN 1 Batangtoru has been implemented, but in Mathematics lesson implementation of the 2013 curriculum has not been implemented maximally, this can be seen during the teaching and learning process in the classroom, the teacher has not utilized the facilities available in the school such as student handbook based on the 2013 curriculum has not been used as a learning book, but the book has been distributed to students, and the infocus provided by the school has not been fully utilized during the lesson. This study aims to determine the application of Curriculum 2013 in Mathematics learning at SMAN 1 Batangtoru, to find out the constraints (problems) found in the application of Curriculum 2013 in Mathematics learning at SMAN 1 Batangtoru, to know what efforts are made in tackling the problem of application Curriculum 2013 in Mathematics learning at SMAN 1 Batangtoru. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Technique of collecting data through observation, interview, and documentation. The data source of this research can be obtained from primary data. Primary data are teachers who teach in the field of study Mathematics, Principal SMAN 1 Batangtoru, Vice Principal Curriculum, Teachers other subjects and learners. To ensure the validity of this research data used triangulation technique. From the results of research and discussion obtained it can be concluded that the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in learning Mathematics at SMAN 1 Batangtoru still less than the maximum. In addition, obstacles in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum still exist. So also with the results of the 2013 curriculum is still less than the maximum. Various applications expressed by teachers, principals, vice principals of the curriculum, and students are almost identical. So, Researchers see that the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in SMAN 1 Batangtoru still not maximal because there has been no outstanding results obtained from teachers or students concerned.
